    No Motto, Semireflective Surfaces

    1834 $2 1/2 MS62 NGC. Breen-6138, Variety 1, R.1 This first-year No Motto quarter eagle variety is attributed by the flat leftmost curls and tight back curls arranged in a vertical row. Yellow-gold surfaces are bright with a trace of field reflectivity. Marks are peppered over each side, as expected for this grade level. There is minor softness on the middle curls, but the rest of this Classic Head type coin is bold. Census: 64 in 62 (5 in 62+), 98 finer (9/19).(Registry values: P1)
