    1836 $2 1/2 Script 8 AU53 NGC. Head of 1835, Breen-6143, McCloskey-D, R.2. A prominent die crack runs from the rim through star 6, through the bottom corner of the L in LIBERTY, across the highpoint curls, over the ear, and back to the rim between stars 12 and 13. In nice condition for the grade, with moderate wear, a few wispy marks, and several bits of verdigris near the date and the left obverse periphery.
