    1836 $2 1/2 Script 8 MS61 NGC. McCloskey-D, Head of 1835, R.2. The 6 in the date is high, and arrowheads reach the CA in AMERICA. A later die state that has a trio of spindly obverse die cracks. The left half of the shield is typically struck, but the borders are bold. The bright luster is extensive.
