    1836 $2 1/2 Script 8 MS63 NGC. Head of 1835, Breen-6143, Variety-11, R.2. This canary-gold Classic two and a half exhibits a generally sharp strike, although the centers display minor blending of detail. The cheek displays a few thin marks, but the fields are only lightly abraded. Conditionally scarce in the present quality. Four different Liberty busts were used on the denomination in 1836, distinguished by minor changes to the arrangement of curls.(Registry values: P1)
