    Description

    Uncirculated 1836 Classic Head Two-and-a-Half, Script 8

1836 $2 1/2 Script 8 MS 62 PCGS. The relatively smooth surfaces are suggestive of a higher grade, but somewhat subdued luster seems to account for the MS 62 designation. With sharply struck devices, this is still, however, an attractive coin for the grade and an important Mint State type representative.
    From the Richard Doyle Collection.
