1837 $2 1/2 --Improperly Cleaned--NCS. AU Details. McCloskey-B, R.2. The usually encountered variety of this lower mintage Philadelphia issue. Peach-red fields and devices accompany olive-gold margins. Liberty's forehead and curls show minor wear, and unimportant marks are on Liberty's eye and the upper right reverse field. Only mildly cleaned.From The R.M. Phillips Limited Partnership Collection.(Registry values: P2)
