    Rich Peach Toning

    1839-C $2 1/2 XF45 PCGS. CAC. Breen-6150, Variety-22, R.4. This well-defined Charlotte type coin is mostly peach-red, although the portrait and left obverse field are olive-gold. Noticeable luster remains, and all abrasions are minor. Lengthy die cracks are prominent on both sides. Only five examples of the issue have received a CAC sticker (6/11).(Registry values: P5)
