Impressive AU53 1839-O Two and a Half
1839-O $2 1/2 AU53 PCGS. High Date, Wide Fraction, Breen-6152, McCloskey-A, R.3. Although only 17,781 pieces were struck, two die marriages are known for this very scarce Classic Head issue. Luster dominates the peripheries and devices, and the strike is consistent. Unblemished given the grade. Essential for a New Orleans type set, and encased in a green label holder.(Registry values: P3)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25G7, PCGS# 7701, GSID# 8261)
