    1847 1C Hawaii Cent MS64 Brown NGC. Medcalf 2CC-2. Crosslet 4, 15 berries. Chocolate-brown and sea-green shades intermingle across this minimally marked, sharply struck, and semiprooflike Choice cent. Issued for the Kingdom of Hawaii by H. M. & E. I. Richards of Attleboro, Massachusetts. The legend HAPA HANERI was a manufacturer's error, as AUPUNI HAWAII was intended. Listed on page 413 of the 2015 Guide Book. (NGC ID# 2C52, PCGS# 10965)
