    1871 12.5C Wailuku Plantation, 12 1/2 Cents, Narrow Starfish, VF35 PCGS. M. 2TE-2. 6.01gm. The 12 1/2 cent or one bit tokens were paid to workers at the Wailuku cane sugar plantation. Narrow Starfish and Broad Starfish varieties are known. M. 2TE-2 is typically encountered with indistinct stars, but only the upper left star on the date side shows softness. The legends are bold with the exception of the base of the 2 and the fraction. The glossy olive-brown surfaces are problem-free. Listed on page 414 of the 2016 Guide Book.
