1883 25C Hawaii Quarter MS67 PCGS. CAC. The quarter dollar,
or hapaha as it was called in Hawaii, is more plentiful than any
other Hawaiian silver coin, and it is the denomination of choice
for collectors who want a single coin from the island nation.
Tied for Finest Certified
However, a Superb Gem MS67 example, being tied for the finest certified by PCGS or NGC, is more likely to find a home in a specialized cabinet. This piece is fully lustrous and sharply struck. The obverse has intermingled gold and blue-green toning, while the reverse is brilliant with peripheral iridescence. Population: 12 in 67, 0 finer (5/11).
