    Description

Carlos III gold 8 Escudos 1776-JJ Nuevo Reino, KM50.1, nice fully lustrous UNC with bold details and no adjustment marks or flan flaws. The obverse appears to be lightly cleaned with some faint hairlines visible, and there are some old scratches on the FELIX. The rim also has a flat bruise at 4 o'clock on the reverse. Despite the mild blemishes, this is a very attractive coin and highly elusive in true mint state.
