Charles III gold 8 Escudos 1765 NR-JV AU58 PCGS, KM41, Onza-850. Premium for the grade, this piece exhibits only the shallowest wear to the high points, obscuring none of the bold details of the distinctive 'rat nose' portrait of Charles. Ablaze with mint luster, gorgeous red tone haloes the sharp devices and adds a significant eye appeal; bearing very few distracting marks, only hairlines in the fields have held this coin back from entering the Mint State designation. Outstanding as a representative of this popular colonial issue.
