Ferdinand VI gold Cob 4 Escudos ND (1751-1752) AU50 NGC, Santa Fe (de Bogota) mint, KM27, Restrepo-M96.6. 13.45gm. 4 ribbons fleur-de-lis variety on the reverse, allowing to assign it to the 1749-1753 period. A good representative of this elusive type, desirable despite the lack of a clear date. Peach toning occupies the sharp crevices in this thick, usually small, flan.From the GK Collection
