    Description

Republic. 8 Reales 1821-Ba-JF, KM73, with pomegranate counterstamp on the reverse (twice!) The host coin is KM6, Cundinamarca, and is nice VG. It is unusual to see this coin with two counterstamps, but one is somewhat double-struck, so perhaps an additional strike was added for clarity.
    From the Morris Geiger Collection.

The marketing was exceptional from the photos to the ads in Civil War Times and North South Trader for the cross over people!!! I have had many emails from my Civil War collecting fraternity that saw these and I saw them at the national show in Nashville/Franklin in early December.
