    Desirable St. Patrick Farthing

    (1670-75) FARTH St. Patrick Farthing VF Details, Corroded, NCS. Breen-212. 'Sea beasts' below king and 'Masonic' punctuation in legend, the latter at 3 o'clock on each side. The brass splasher is somewhat southeast but covers most of the crown, the top of the harp, and the King's face. Much of the obverse is finely pitted, the reverse is less porous but is rough near 9 o'clock. Richly detailed and deep brown in color with light tooling at the top of the reverse. Listed on page 39 of the 2006 Guide Book.
