    St. Patrick Farthing, Choice XF
    Well-Defined Martin 1c.8-Ba.13

(1670-75) St. Patrick Farthing XF45 PCGS. W-11500, M. 1c.8-Ba.13. St. Patrick farthings were made for circulation in Ireland, but Mark Newby brought a hoard of the coppers to New Jersey in 1681, where they were deemed legal tender by the colonial legislature. This walnut-brown representative is richly detailed for the type, though we note a dull mark near 9 o'clock on the reverse. Listed on page 43 of the 2020 Guide Book.
