Rare Diagonals Variety, W-12000
(1694) 1/2 P London Elephant Token, Diagonals, XF40 PCGS. Hodder
1-A, W-12000, High R.6. Hodder 2-B without central reverse
diagonals is the "common" (Rarity-2) Elephant token. The present
variety, Hodder 1-A, has central reverse diagonals and is rare.
PCGS has certified just seven examples in all grades (3/20). A
lightly abraded chocolate-brown piece with minor flan flaws near
the pachyderm's front leg. Struck from widely rotated dies. Listed
