Description
(1694) 1/2 P London Elephant Token, Thick Planchet, XF45 PCGS. Hodder 2-B, W-12040, R.2. An unblemished medium brown example. Granularity is minimal, and hints of luster emerge from the ponderous pachyderm. Although a British issue, the token is collected as a colonial since the same obverse die also struck rare Carolina and New England varieties.
