Thick Planchet London Elephant Token MS62 Brown
(1694) TOKEN London Elephant Token, Thick Planchet MS62 Brown PCGS. Breen-186, Hodder 2-B. This mahogany-brown representative shimmers with satin luster. Sharply struck with bold shield lines. A few toned planchet flaws are present on the reverse, but these mint-made imperfections are inconsequential. Unabraded aside from a minor obverse edge nick at 9 o'clock. Listed on page 44 of the 2007 Guide Book. Population: 9 in 62 Brown, 20 finer (6/07).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2U3A, PCGS# 55, Greysheet# 353)
