Description
(1792-94) Kentucky Token, LANCASTER Edge, MS64 Red PCGS. Breen-1156, W-8810, R.5. The majority of Kentucky tokens have a Plain Edge, but this is an example of the rare LANCASTER edge type. Copper-orange color is impressive, and both sides are remarkably preserved with minimal carbon. The legends are bold, while a touch of softness occurs on the scroll and the reverse stars. Housed in a green label holder. Listed on page 87 of the 2019 Guide Book.From The Kadison Family Collection.
