    Newman 4-E, W-1155

    (Circa 1828) American Plantations 1/24 Part Real, Restrike, MS63+ PCGS. Newman 4-E, W-1155, R.5. Perhaps 50 of these survive today, based on the combination of R.5 and URS-7 ratings. All of the American Plantation tokens produced from Newman obverse dies 4 and 5, a total of three die varieties, are thought to be restrikes circa 1828. This outstanding example has brilliant light gray luster and sharp design motifs with excellent eye appeal. Population: 10 in 63 (2 in 63+), 1 finer (3/21). Listed on page 43 of the 2021 Guide Book.
