1652 3PENCE Oak Tree Threepence--Damaged--NCS. VF Details. Crosby 3-A2, Noe-25, R.6. 14.8 grains. Most of the tree and the majority of the legend letters are bold on this rare Noe variety. The blended jade-green and brown toning is attractive. Bent at one time vertically on each side of the tree, since straightened. A straight mint clip at 11 o'clock affects portions of a few letters. Moderately off center toward 9 o'clock, as made.From The Jones Beach Collection.
