1652 3PENCE Pine Tree Threepence AU53 PCGS. Crosby 2a-B,
Noe-36, W-640, R.4. 13.9 gn. A splendidly detailed example. The
reverse has complete legends, and the tree and denomination are
bold. A mint clip takes a portion of the SE in MASATHVSETS off the
flan. The deep green-gold surfaces shimmer with luster. Slightly
wavy, as made. Listed on page 37 of the 2009 Guide Book.
