    1652 Pine Tree Threepence VF 30. Noe-36. 16.3 grains. Struck on a beautiful, full planchet with complete legends, only showing a little weakness at SAT in MASATHVSETS and the D on the corresponding area on the other side. The surfaces have an attractive, light silver-gray appearance with the most noticeable flaw being an old scratch on the lower right side of the tree and another at the E of MASATHVSETS. Listed on page 18 of the 2001 Guide Book.
