Small Planchet, Noe-29
Green Label Holder
1652 Pine Tree Shilling, Small Planchet, Fine 12 PCGS. Noe-29,
W-930, Salmon 11-F, R.3. The D in ENGLAND is over a reversed D,
one of the identifiers for Noe-29. The M in MASATHVSETS is boldly
recut. This cream-gray colonial type coin displays only a single
relevant mark, a thin diagonal line on the reverse between 9:30 and
11 o'clock. Portions of the shilling are sharp, though wear is more
prominent on the right obverse and left reverse borders.
Encapsulated in a green label holder. Listed on page 41 of the 2021
