1652 Pine Tree Shilling, Small Planchet, Noe-17, W-840, Salmon 3-B, R.3 -- Corrosion Removed -- PCGS Genuine. XF Details. 59 grains. An evenly defined Small Planchet type coin with tan-brown and silver-gray surfaces. Moderately granular overall, with pitting evident on the lower reverse. A "bird's nest" variety with a small break at the right center of the pine tree. A small hook-shaped flan flaw is at 5 o'clock. Sea salvage, per its 1994 Spink fixed price appearance. Listed on page 9 of the 2026 Guide Book.
