Noe-33, Pellets at Trunk
1652 Pine Tree Sixpence, Pellets at Trunk, Noe-33, W-670, Salmon
2-B, R.3, VF35 PCGS. Diagnostic for Noe-33, the obverse has the
appearance of an off-center strike toward 11:30, but the cause is a
misaligned obverse die. The reverse is well centered, with nearly
complete legends. The usual die state with a narrow vertical break
between the 16 in the date. An evenly microgranular tan-brown and
gunmetal-blue Choice VF example. One thin diagonal mark passes
through the right-side tree branches. Listed on page 36 of the 2025
