Scarce 1652 Oak Tree Shilling, Noe-4

1652 SHILNG Oak Tree Shilling--Damaged--NCS. VF Details. Noe-4, Crosby 3-D, R.4. 67.4 grains. All legends are fully intact, and most letters are bold. The tree has decent detail, since about half of the tree is clear. A roundish depression beneath the 2 in the date, constitutes the "damage," which causes some flaking opposite on the obverse. Slightly wavy, as made from a rocker press. Listed on page 37 of the 2007 Guide Book.
