XF Sharpness Oak Tree Shilling
Rare Noe-11 Variety
1652 SHILNG Oak Tree Shilling--Damaged--NCS. XF Details. IN
at Bottom. Crosby 6b-E2, Noe-11, R.6. 71.6 gn. Bent at one time
above the date and at the base of the date, since straightened.
Small digs are noted near the west portion of the tree and on the
obverse at 6 o'clock. Darkened to ebony-brown with sea-green
overtones. The legends are nearly complete at the borders despite
mint clips at 9 and 11 o'clock. Listed on page 37 of the 2009
