    Description

1652 SHILNG Oak Tree Shilling, IN at Bottom, Fine 15 PCGS. Noe-5, W-470, Salmon 3-D, R.2. 66.97 gm. A minutely granular silver-gray example. A bit underweight, but the reverse legends are complete. The lower obverse legends are partial, as always for Noe-5 due to a misaligned obverse die. The upper portion of the tree is worn, but the lowest branches are clear. A late die state of Noe-5 with the N in NEW and the field below XII severely crumbled. Listed on page 41 of the 2017 Guide Book.
