    1652 SHILNG Oak Tree Shilling, IN at Bottom, VG10 PCGS. Noe-8, W-490, Salmon 6-E, High R.6. 68.36 gn. This Oak Tree shilling exhibits the "S" bend characteristic of rocker press production. The coin's natural wave causes uneven wear, most apparent on the tree branches and above the date. The date and denomination are bold, and a majority of the peripheral letters are clear. A straight mint clip at 3 o'clock affects the tops of NEW. Listed on page 41 of the 2017 Guide Book.
