    XF Noe-1 Oak Tree Shilling

    1652 SHILNG Oak Tree Shilling XF40 NGC. Crosby 9-H, Noe-1, R.3. IN at left. 70.2 grains. Gunmetal-gray and medium brown toning embrace this attractive Boston Mint silver piece. Moderately wavy, as produced from rocker dies, and the borders at 3 and 9 o'clock have mint-made straight clips. The designs are bold save for wear near the base of the oak tree. Listed on page 37 of the 2007 Guide Book.
