1652 SHILNG Oak Tree Shilling XF40 NGC. Crosby 3-D, Noe-4, W-460, R.4. IN at Bottom. 70.4 gn. Evenly defined save for the upper and lower thirds of the tree. Richly toned dove-gray and gunmetal-blue. A small edge split at 5 o'clock is of mint origin, as is a slender flan defect through the 6 in the date. Mildly wavy, also as produced. Listed on page 37 of the 2009 Guide Book.Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 20, GSID# 8)
