    Rarity-6 Noe-11 Oak Tree Shilling

1652 SHILNG Oak Tree Shilling VF30 PCGS. Noe-11, R.6. 67.7 grains. The devices show much evidence of recutting on the dies, a common phenomenon in the Massachusetts silver series. Medium gray overall with darkness around some of the letters and devices, providing a pleasant contrast. There is one somewhat lighter patch of color on the X of the denomination. An attractive example. Listed on page 18 of the 2002 Guide Book.
