1652 SHILNG Pine Tree Shilling, Large Planchet AU53 PCGS. Noe-4.5, R.5. 69.5 grains. Noe-4.5 is a die state of Noe-4, distinguished by a weak right side of the O in DOM and a more advanced die break left of the denomination. A crease in the planchet near the top of the tree is as minted. Tightly trimmed (as issued) along the left border. A sharp and unmarked medium lavender-brown example that has an imposing pedigree.Ex: Vlack Collection, Bill Anton, Hain Family Collection (Stack's, 1/02), lot 103.(#23)
