1652 Pine Tree Shilling
1652 SHILNG Pine Tree Shilling, Small Planchet VF35 PCGS.
Crosby 21-L, Noe-16, W-835, R.2. 69.4 grains. Struck from a later
state of the dies with the two lowest branches on the left fused. A
cud has also formed on the rosette below, and another is beginning
to form below the N. A bit off center with pale silver-gray accents
over the devices, otherwise medium gray in the fields. A
problem-free coin for the grade with no obvious impairments. Listed
