Choice XF Noe-29 Oak Tree Twopence
1662 2PENCE Oak Tree Twopence XF45 NGC. Small 2 in date. Crosby 1-A2, Noe-29, R.6. 11.8 gns. This mark-free twopence has surprising sharpness on the tree, since every branch is distinct. The silver-gray legends and motifs contrast with the deep cream-gray to ebony fields. The obverse is well centered, while the reverse is misaligned several degrees toward 5:30. Listed on page 36 of the 2008 Guide Book.Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 17, GSID# 11)
