1722 Rosa Americana Halfpenny, AU58
Martin 2.1-B.1
1722 1/2 P Rosa Americana Halfpenny, D:G: REX, M. 2.1-B.1,
W-1218, R.4, AU58 NGC. The early variety with DEI GRATIA
abbreviated. This sharply impressed representative is deep
red-brown on the obverse and a mixture of lime-green and deep
olive-tan on the reverse. Some of the dentils at the right reverse
border between 2 o'clock and 7 o'clock are incomplete and
apparently struck through either adjustment or heavy roller marks.
The surfaces are smooth and unabraded on both sides. Listed on page
