1722 1/2P Rosa Americana Halfpenny, D. G. REX AU58 PCGS.
Breen-133. UTILE DULCI. Stops after REX and 1722. A sharply struck
olive-brown piece with a dash of mauve patina on the obverse
center. The obverse is beautifully smooth, while the reverse has
only a couple of unimportant marks. A touch of wear on the rose
accounts for the grade. Listed on page 40 of the 2010 Guide
Book.Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2007), lot 48, which realized $2,875.
