1722 1/2P Rosa Americana Halfpenny, DEI GRATIA REX, UTILE DULCI VG8 NGC. Martin 3.3-C.1, R.5. The lower left obverse, and opposing point of the reverse, show strike weakness with some minor surface roughness, possibly remaining from the planchet before this piece was coined. Both sides exhibit auburn and medium olive-brown patina.Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
