    1722 2PENCE Rosa Americana, Period After REX AU55 PCGS. M. 3.12-C.2, W-1326, R.3. A bold olive-brown example of this important early American issue, struck for Ireland but eventually circulated in America. A few moderately granular brown spots are noted, principally on the reverse, and a faded thin mark is located on the right obverse field. Listed on page 43 of the 2014 Guide Book.
    Ex: November Signature (Heritage, 11/2005), lot 8, which realized $1,840.
