1723 1/2 P Hibernia Halfpenny MS64 Red NGC. M. 4.74-Gb.11,
W-13120, R.4. A splendid orange-gold, near-Gem that boasts a
mark-free appearance and bold strike. The lustrous surfaces display
minimal dove-gray toning, chiefly on the highest portions of the
design. A fairly late die state with scattered evidence of light
die rust and a noticeable die break on the obverse rim at 6
o'clock. Listed on page 45 of the 2014 Guide Book.From The Old New England Collection.
