1723 Rosa Americana Twopence
MS63 Brown, Martin 3.6-E.8

1723 2PENCE Rosa Americana Twopence MS63 Brown NGC. M. 3.6-E.8, W-1334, R.5. A fully struck and satiny ebony-brown twopence with unblemished surfaces and impressive eye appeal. Close examination reveals light repunching on the 1 and 2 in the date. The obverse legend states George I was the king of France, an example of wishful thinking. Listed on page 43 of the 2014 Guide Book.
