Description
1760 1/2 P Hibernia-Voce Populi Halfpenny MS63 Brown NGC. N. 4, Z. 2-A, W-1382X, R.1. The 1 in the date resembles a J, and heavy die crumbling occurs around POPULI. The surfaces are rich mahogany-brown and slightly flowlined. Minor softness appears on the highest points of the design, but this Select survivor is largely bold. The eye appeal is wonderful. Listed on page 61 of the 2019 Guide Book.From The Kadison Family Collection.
