    1760 Voce Populi Copper, AU58
    W-13960, P Below Bust

    1760 1/2 P Hibernia-Voce Populi Halfpenny, P Below Bust, N. 14, Z. 16-O, W-13960, R.6, AU58 PCGS. CAC. The Nelson-14 or Zelinka 16-O is substantially rarer than the other two varieties that have the P below the bust. Close examination of this near-Mint example reveals a trace of original orange mint color on the olive and steel-brown surfaces of this outstanding example. Virtually full cartwheel luster is present with no indication of handling marks on either side. Most of the myriad surface marks on each side appear to be planchet marks that failed to strike out during production. Listed on page 51 of the 2018 Guide Book. Population for all three varieties with P below the bust: 4 in 58, 2 finer. CAC: 1 in 58, 0 finer (6/17).
