Lovely Choice 1760 Voce Populi Halfpenny
Zelinka 2-A, Nelson-4
1760 1/2P Hibernia-Voce Populi Halfpenny MS64 Brown NGC. Z. 2-A,
N.4, W-1282X, R.1. A high grade example of the "Older Head" No
P die variety. The glossy chocolate-brown surfaces are unabraded
and well struck. Apparently the obverse die was not properly
annealed, since advanced breaks (as coined) are seen within the
legends and portrait. Listed on page 47 of the 2011 Guide
Book. Census: 1 in 64 Brown, 1 finer (7/10).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2AUC, PCGS# 262, Greysheet# 57)
