Description

1766 1/2P Pitt Halfpenny, Silvered VF20 PCGS. Breen-251. A silvered example, although the majority of the silver plate has worn through and the piece is now mostly tan-brown in color. The legends are generally clear. The chin has a pair of wispy abrasions, otherwise problem-free for the grade. Listed on page 48 of the 2008 Guide Book.
