    1773 1/2 P Virginia Halfpenny, Period, MS64 Brown PCGS. N. 26-Y, W-1680, R.2. Although designated as Brown, this Virginia type coin shows considerable orange-gold on both sides. The king's cheek and the open reverse field displays gunmetal toning. Well made and unmarked with minor scattered carbon. Struck at the Tower Mint in London. Likely from the Colonel Cohen Hoard, as are most high-grade examples. Listed on page 47 of the 2021 Guide Book.
