1773 1/2P Virginia Halfpenny, Period MS64 Brown PCGS. CAC. N. 20-N, R.4. The variety with a period after GEORGIVS and with seven strings in the harp on the reverse. This pleasing piece has considerable brilliant orange luster in the protected areas with glossy olive-brown surfaces. Listed on page 45 of the 2014 Guide Book. Population: 58 in 64 (2 in 64+) Brown, 5 finer (7/13).
